The buzzwords on everyone’s lips for the last decade plus have been “21st-century learning.” Educators talk about incorporating technology into lessons on a regular basis, but are you doing it in a meaningful way?

As a district, CPS is committed to providing a 1 to 1 ratio of devices to students in the classroom. And while we are closing this first "digital divide" of access to technology, it has become increasingly clear that we need to do a better job addressing the second digital divide: usage and integration of technology. In order to better prepare our students, and let’s be honest, ourselves, for the rapid changes in technology usage, The Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Digital Learning is proud to introduce the Trailblazer Program.
